How do I make a pumpkin spice shrub?
Shrubs are concentrated, vinegar-based syrups that have been either infused with or made from fruit, flowers, and spices. You can make Pickadilly's shrub (which can be enjoyed without alcohol) using pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar.
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces pumpkin spice shrub
3 ounces Prosecco
1 1/2 ounces soda water
1 ounce Aperol
1 cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Directions
Add pumpkin spice shrub to a wine glass filled with ice. Add 3 to 4 ounces of Prosecco and 1 ounce of Aperol
Add ice and top with about an ounce of soda water. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
